    SIVANANDA YOGA teaches a classical method of the 'four paths of yoga' in order to experience a state of peace and harmony in the Body, Mind & Spirit.
    The 12 basic asanas or poses are much more than just stretching. They open the energy channels, chakras and psychic centres of the body which increase flexibility of the spine, strengthen bones and stimulate the circulatory and immune systems.
    Each asana (pose) is held for a couple of minutes or so. This is a strong routine so there is a rest incorporated after certain postures throughout the class.
    The class is designed to be accessible to everyone, regardless of their level of experience.

    What do you need to bring for this class?
    Yoga Mat (thinner one is recommended)
    Towel + Water Bottle
    Optional: Bolster, Strap, Blocks


    If you have any injuries or need a modification for a move, please talk to your instructor before class begins and let them know of any restrictions. They will be glad to assist you.
